i have one white box version unifi tv box, previously connected to LAN port 4 (normally for iptv port) without any problem. But now the LAN cable is broken above the ceiling, maybe get bitten by rats, so i connect using the wifi 2.4g but cannot view any content, the screen is black, i reconnect using lan cable again it work fine.

any sifu here know whats the cause? or memang cannot stream using wifi?

memang cannot. this one needs VLAN 600 via LAN4 to work. if you want to use wifi you need the new Unifi plus box.

If your TV is already an Android TV, you don't need that box anymore. Just install UniFi TV app

If however your TV is just a normal TV, don't waste your money or renew your contract for a new UniFi TV box
Just buy Mi Box or Mecool KM2 then install UniFi TV app so you can watch exactly the same thing + more functionality such as watching YouTube & Netflix

Yes. But you need to confirm your UniFi TV login details
