SSD read and write depends on the files thought so does SATA2/3 matter?

Most of the time, SATA2/3 doesn't matter for general users with an SSD.
Most of the things we do on computer ends up with relatively small files anyways.

only if you regularly use files in hundreds of MB and above, will you really feel the difference between SATA2/SATA3... such as playing large complex fancy games, video editing, downloading movies (and moving them around)...

thats what they are saying...

i believe Samsung Magician means that the SSD is SATA3 capable but is running at SATA2 speeds.

What motherboard/system are you using?
Both system and device has to support SATA3 for SATA3 operation. If either one doesn't support SATA3.. then it drops down to the next level.

If both system and device are supposed to support SATA3, but isn't running so... check your SATA cable, it could be a bad cable, either bad quality or worn out.
Or are you using a super long SATA cable when a short one will work? (longer cables mean weaker signal)
Such things does happen.
