because when still baby.. ken color is more whitey~~~

it's normal for hoglet to sleep more as they're still small... =]
and also... for the 1st n 2nd day arrived at new home.. they tend to sleep more before they socialize wif the new owner and to let them feel the new environment.. ehe

Now I know why Lil Oakey dun feel like eating... 
because~~~~~ RC Kitten kibbles is to hard for him to chew/bite/eat? xD
anyway.... most of us here.. fed our baby RC Babycat when we first brought back our hoglet..
the reason we choose babycat is because the kibbles is smaller and hoglet can easily chew/eat the kibbles as their mouth still small and those babyc at kibbles is easier to chew than RC Kitten.. 

I fed my boy babycat till now.. because he likes it more than Kitten kibbles.. 
Last time I tried to mix Kitten wif babycat to slowly changed it to kitten as it's more cheaper than babycat xD
but.. the result came out.... He tend to throw out the food rather than eat it.. eat also will choose those babycat kibbles and the kittten kibbles spread around the cage... and if i put all kitten kibbles... He did the same as ur Oakey did.. only take some kibbles then left it till i changed to a new one... but if i fed him babycat.. I can fed wif 2 times a day without throwing his last meal to the bin!!!

Please do not breed them for no good reason.
Breeding is not easy, not fun, and definitely NOT something for inexperienced beginners

If you are thinking about breeding to make money let me tell you that you need to be prepared to spend more than you will earn.
If something goes wrong during birth/pregnancy and you do not provide emergency vet treatment to a hedgehog that is pregnant because YOU wanted her to be, then the blood is literally on your hands, because you killed them.

Alot of things can go wrong, horribly wrong.

My honest advice to you is learn everything you can about how to keep a hedgehog healthy and happy as a pet before you even start to think about anything else.

Yep, just keep seeding the litter box with poops and hopefully Oakey will get the idea

Remember to have patience for now because he is still a little baby and babies have poor bladder control (will just poop whenever and wherever they like several time a day)
As he gets older his intestine will lengthen and he will be able to control it better.

Either paper towel or cat litter is fine, I am using paper towel.
But if you choose cat litter be sure to avoid the clumping or clay type, also the crystal type is unsuitable.
You can also use breeders celect in the litter box.

He is incredibly adorable  , He looks alot like my Demon did as a baby

Nikki is he peeing? If he is peeing and the pee colour is a light yellow, he is probably drinking when your not around. They don't always drink directly after eating. If you are concerned just monitor the water level in the bowl and his urine.
Most likely something happen to stress the mother, or sometimes the babies are born with problems so the mother will cannibalize them.
Also sometimes geniuses make a male and female live together and they don't realize the female is pregnant.
When she gives birth mom and dad will happily cannibalize the babies together.

Hi Nikki let me share with you a neat trick to stop them from digging under the liner

Go to a hardware store and buy some self stick velcro
Be sure to buy both the fuzzy and scratchy sides, buy enough for all your liners.

Cut them into pieces and stick pieces of the fuzzy side on the liner and correspondingly located pieces of the scratchy side on the base of the cage (perhaps one piece in each corner? its up to you)
This way the liner will attach securely to the base of the cage but you can still easily remove to wash. (velcro is washable so just leave it on the liner and wash them together)

This is what velcro looks like, they are sold either in packets or in rolls which you can buy the amount you need by the length.

I got mine from Ace Hardware. I used it when Demon was small, once he figured out that he couldn't get under the liners anymore he stopped trying. Now in his new cage i do not use velcro but he no longer goes under the liners.
