we bought RC feline indoor for him yesterday and he absolutely loved it...
he kept munching and munching and munching away...
we did add in his previous food so that he can slowly adapt to the new RC... we'll try to give him better food and we'll also try to mix a few food together so that he can also have a variety to choose from...

yesterday, we tried to bath our little hedgie.. he was so cute and clumsy!
he stretched and fall will being in the stretching position.. *he was trying to climb out of the water >.<*
ooh, he pooped into the water too... which was funny and smelly at the same time... >.<

anyway, there was progress in him being with us..
we even picked him up after bathing time... he kinda curled and clicked.. but thank God after a time, he's okay with us carrying him... there are a few times he tried to curl or run away... but after a while, he's back to normal.. we even take photo's with him! smile.gif which was pretty cool.. smile.gif he knows when we said 'no' to him...
there was a time where he curled and after we say 'no', he relaxed himself more...
*i'm not exaggerating*

oh, attached are some of the pictures of his house.. and we've decided to call him 'spikey'...
ya, so, spikey the hedgie.. tongue.gif

The one with towel look very cute! laugh.gif

Never like reptiles... It's good that they have someone to love them...  rclxms.gif  Don't let joanne see that if you get them, cim... She'll freaked out...

It's sad to go pet shop to see poor hedgehogs lying there motionless... There are 2 petshop(quite famous) that Joanne and I went to, their hedgehogs are really in bad condition...
1. Petsmore Queens Park Cheras - One albino hedgehog under bright and hot spotlight, skinny and it's skin was peeling off... As for now I don't see it there anymore... May be died already...
2. Pet Safari Mid Valley - Four baby Hedgehogs under spotlight too... And they are infested with mites...

As I can see most of the petshops, they feed hedgehogs with rabbit pellets...
*
Confront them if you really know what is wrong. SPCA CAN do something BASIC, let's said is shouldnt under spotlight, infested with mites WHICH no treatment given(you need to shot video or photo to prove the date been how long).

All your affort will move SPCA to pay a visit to warn them, better then no one said anything to the shop keeper.

95% of our local pet shop feed ALL SMALL animals, no matter what breed is it, they feed LOCAL MAKE RABBIT PELLET, with some vege if they hv....... SICKENING! vmad.gif

Heres a funky color for your viewing pleasure. Its been described as extreme Reverse Pinto.

Pinto: A colored hedgie with spots of skin and quills that lack pigmentation

Reverse Pinto: A hedgie that has no pigment on most of its body, but with spots of colored skin and quills.

I cant find the thread where i got the pics from atm, will add it in when i find it.

Note spot of dark banded quills on his bum and ruby red eyes. (albinos have pink eyes, not ruby red)

Yalor, lots of people's first impression of chinchilla is a RABBIT! I think because of how chinchilla stand and the ear that cause illusion. laugh.gif

Side view.
The back pole is intentionally slanted  to balance out the slant of the bucket itself.
This is so the running surface is at 180%.

The wheel is really good, beats anything you can buy in stores.
The smooth surface is really easy to clean and most of the time the poo and pee slides off as she runs.
When it spins its more smooth and silent than the silent spinner due to the fact its using a roller blade wheel with a bearing in it.
If you have a saw and drill at home (and you are reasonably good at DIY) you should really try making one!

I cant wait to replace demons silent spinner with one of these, I already bought the same bucket in pearl baby blue to match his liners  laugh.gif
