My coursin's hedgie gave birth.. 4 hoglets So far he saw all of the hoglets with white colour quills..
Hopefully, the mother do not reject the hoglets

I wanted Metal wheel is because it's heavy(and also cheap ) so it can support spikey well... He's a fat boy, cannot use one palm to hold him... And silent wheel is so expensive, I'm kinda broke lor... Hopefully CNY can get lots and lots of ang pow...

Cimredopyh: Spikey eats alot and poo alot too... Even if he finished pooing in his cage, when he comes out also he will poo... I don't know why got this symptom, basically may be he eat too much... oh ya, where do you get the tunnel from? It looks cool...

O well lol, maybe he just loves to eat XD

first, when I wan to clean his cage and 2nd when I took him out after I woke him out... luckily these time when I took him put he rarely did that except poo-ing.. haha

I've been through that lots of times...
in my case ken also like to poo near his food n sometimes poo n pee IN his food... this occurred because I used the build in food tank which can support his whole body... and so this make him did his business while eating too -.-"

now I changed the tank using smaller bowl for reptile... and I happy to see that he din poo near his food already since he just went through it just to eat then did his business the other side.. hehe

he poos near his food because they like to eat and poop at the same time. In one end and out the other you got pm btw

Still trying to get a very very big litter box for Spikey... At least he won't simple poo or pee anywhere...

And you know what... Spikey has mites on his body... Just saw it just now when I really look into his quills... Going to bath him now and put Frontline on him another 3 days... Really sad...

while playing with sheimi yesterday, i noticed that something tucked out from his genital... i think it's his penis but it has become dry.. i'm afraid to see him in that condition.. afraid that he cannot pee.. i wanna bring him to the vet but i dunno if they know how to treat a hedgie..

Oh sorry didnt realize you were from Malacca. In that case have you tried calling either of the Malacca vets listed in the vets thread to see if they can treat him?
No harm in calling and finding out.
On a side note, you should always try finding a vet before something happens. Especially if your not located in a big city and deciding to keep an exotic pet.

Hmm do you guy's hedgehog will lick his/her belly ???
Sometime i notice that my bochai will lick on belly there or maybe his ....

Is it got problem for that?
I just know that some other pet lick on his ..... will getting sick or not enought nutrition.

If its a male dont worry its pretty common, hes probably just having "boy time"

But ... last time my chincilla die is because of that... I ask the vet and he say that is a sign that tell that chincilla is not enought nutrition that's why need to drink his urine.... ( i still hard to believe it ) That time i also think is boy time.

And i notice that .... ( actually is normally didn't notice ) my bochai urine like yellow ... normally that bedding already absorb it so can't really see the truth color.

Really hope that is "Boy time" for my Bo Chai.. ..
