I know how you feel for didn't say goodbye to Igel, i also be like that last few month because of my chinchilla pass away. He just pass away out from my sight when i taking him to vets.... until let vets look at him, he already gone... T_T ( so everyone who emegency need to look for vets, just go to vets and request for emegency... don't wait those ppl doing slow thing for asking your name, your age... and your pet name there.....)

But need to c how was the poo at the wheel there, if whole surface like that..... easy clean also need to clean long time because of big wheel

Just now i notice my Bo Chai injured already, when i take him up and just rounded, for what i see, the injured area is near the armpit of front leg,
I have no idea how he injured, all thing inside is round.... I also thinking is it the wheel but totally no idea for it.


So what i can do now? I want to send him for vets, but any suggestion vets for hedgehog? I always send my pet to vet which is near Pet safari ( Ikiano ) there, but I'm not sure is it ok to let them check ...

Hmm don't know how Bo Chai feel now, i take out the wheel and just left the food & water container + hiding pipe there.... Hope Bo Chai have a rest until tomorow send him for vets

hard to c the the injured area 1, he got bleeding also. ( the blood from armpit until body, maybe is bleeding when runing wheel and just drop until body there....) But already dry....
Any vet suggestion ?? Or i take him to the vet that is near Ikiano Pet Safari there.

Dr Yeoh also can for Hedgehog? Is it Dr yeoh chinese or ?

Em guys, just now i clean Bo Chai cage and try take Bo Chai have a look, those blood that it on his body all gone.... become white white flur there, the scratch already dry, like our human like that. Is it still need to take to Dr Yeoh? Bo Chai run as normally there ( just now need to chase him.... )

Maybe today i stop bath him ( today is his bathing time ), just see how is going on. OK ?

Just now i put my hand inside the storage cage, he just run and chase on my hand, run like normal like that. Didn't c any limp, run very smooth.

I'm using the 12" big wheel there, just now i notice the wheel got the plastic cutting area like cutting gundam model area without sanding, but that area also hard to hurt hedgehog, but i already sanding it become smooth.

Housing also no problem to hurt Bo Chai, because i give him a huge pipe for his sleeping place..... now still wonder how he get the scratch...
For what i think now is that wheel plastic cutting area.

Oh yea 1 more thing is.... he clean the blood on his flur by himself, today i stop bath for him, scare the scratch will bleeding again.

But anywhere thank you guys, yesterday can sleep while also T-T.

i do it once a week, bathing + cleaning cage + change bedding at same day. I check inside the cage, nothing sharp thing on there. Yesterday when i saw it... very horry 1, i thought Bo Chai eat something else and bleeding there, when i check carefully, many blood on his bottom body but already start dry ( very pure red color ) besides that, wheel, bedding sleeping place also got some blood there... But i can't find out which area is make him get scratch ( according the blood area inside the cage )

Does hedgehog bite himself until bleeding ? Now afternoon i take out the wheel first, let him have some space to rest, at night i put it back c how is going on.

My Bo Chai always shame and angry

Hmm nowadays start look at my Bo Chai is it the scratch got open back and bleeding or not, but lucky is no more already. Is it ok give a bath for next week? or give him more time to recover ?

stinky , no la, normally every week bath 1 time. So, see is it can bath for next week or not . I like give a bath for my Bo Chai because of .... I can play with him

Johnson & Johnson, yellow ( abit orange ) bottle will be the oatmeal shampoo. I'm using it

When i give my Bo Chai bath, i will put him in 1 place let him pooo & pee there after that only start bath, if not.... u will see your shampoo water with poo .......

Sorry Cimredopyh , i make mistake for that, I'm using that is Johnson & Johnson baby shampoo with wheatgerm.

Ya my Bo Chai also like that, if other ppl go near he will take alert, just sometime he still know is me and sleep at there nicely or stone at there
I have no idea how to hold my Bo Chai leg for nail cutting..... He always say: " Let me go~~~~ "
