QUOTE(JLA @ Nov 13 2022, 10:29 PM) Dual 5G for what? We don't have VoNR anytime soon 😅 Moreover currently 5G modem use your limited battery capacity like water. Are you going to charge your phone maybe 3 times a day just to have dual 5G standby capability? 😂 |

QUOTE(trickyhunter @ Nov 13 2022, 08:13 PM) U mobile "site in progress" represent the site for their own 4G networknot DNB's "site in progress" guess now the only way to view it is via Yes's site / extract DNB site in progress JSON and put it into google my maps |

I use both Umobile & Celcom and both got 5G. I use low end 5G android phone (Samsung Galaxy A13 5G) and do some speed test for both telcos. All I can say from my experience using 5G phone, both telcos provide 2 different speed test. For example, Umobile tested using Speed test app at Bukit Bintang I got 1015Mbps DL, 89Mbps UL. While Celcom I got like 844Mbps DL, 83Mbps UL. I've done many tests using both telcos and I can say that Umobile have higher speed than Celcom even though they both are using the same 5G DNB backbone. Not sure if there something issue with Celcom network on my Galaxy A13, but it supposedly got the same speed like Umobile. |

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Location: Miri Town Hopefully see you in December 😜 Tried to connect 502 159 but cannot connect to it. Could be they install the cells and test powering it up for test run without any connection to mobile network 😅 This post has been edited by poh880: Nov 15 2022, 03:31 PM |

Each ISP has its own core network for routing, accounting, authentication and etc. Basically like fibre provider rode on TM fiber backbone. Same backbone but slightly different speed you get. No two network are built the same. Not even Unifi give you just that on their own network infrastructure.😁 |
