Nowadays phd graduation requirements require two criteria

1. Publish at least two articles in WoS ISI. I believe some accept Scopus. Some stricter ones might even want you to publish in only Q1 and Q2 journals.

If rejected, then submit to another journal. Keep trying until you get two papers published. Remember to put your name first. Not second author.

2. Pass your viva voce. This is the oral examination where you present your thesis findings to a panel of examiner. After passing the viva voce, you have to submit your corrected thesis. There's a procedure for this which you have to refer to your own university.
