Hi .wanna ask how to know max ram limit for lenovo Y580?
-8gb max or 16gb max?
-Its ddr3?
-what mhz suit?
Some web say 16gb..some 8gb max...how to know which one?

I'm still rocking this superb laptop 10 years later. According to the service manual it can take up to 16 GB (2x8GB) RAM. And yes its 1600MHZ Sodimm DDR3 shuyina liked this post
