I am officially diagnose with sleep apnea with a score of 22.8 after going through overnight sleep test. 22.8 means in 1 hour of sleep, I could end up with 20+ instance of not breathing + snore heavily.

Anyone manage to claim insurance for it recently? Such as for the CPAP device, or surgery?

I will go to PPUM to try on the device next month.. heard it's about RM7k per machine (somemore need maintenance on it).

Doctor say don't treat it will end up affecting my lung/heart function later on. They say it's either use the machine or surgery (as for surgery heard of potential complications arising from it).

Hope you can share your experience/treatment/insurance if you have gone through it or in the process of treating it.

PPUM.. need to pay for overnight room which is 150 + the test with is another 100+.. total is 280. Sigh trying to get it claimed via my company insurance.. not sure if can approve coz this thing is grey area in Malaysia.

Hope the gov can allow this to be claimable one day. Since it can have such a big impact on productivity and can cause onset of other diseases like heart/lung/brain issues.
