Seek your assistance to check as I am facing this issue for the first time:

Whenever I click "Add Reply" or "Submit Modified Post" or "Preview Post", it will jump to this page:
forum.lowyat.net needs to review the security of your connection before proceeding

1-2 seconds later, it redirects itself to forum.lowyat.net homepage, and the previous action (publish a post/preview post/submit modified post) did not carried out.
The issue persists even after I logout and login again, clear browser cache, private browser window, tried on other devices/browsers, and I didn't use any DNS whatsoever...

your connection is being checked for exceeding one of the anomaly parameters on cloudflare's firewall. We do not have enough data on our logs to tell you exactly what is causing this check.

If you're still receiving it, please share with us the cloudflare ray ID printed at the bottom of the page and we will try to see if anything more appears on the logs.

You probably need to check your PC for malware (or worse). This is from the IP address based on the cloudflare ID in your screenshot. You've been posting with at least 4 other IP's in the last 24 hour period as well (all of which seem to be showing a similar offensive behavior)

Could it happen because of VPN that randomly rotates the IP addresses from time to time?

can't really say. If you're using a paid VPN service, try to disable it and see if you're still getting the cloudflare security check.

I'm still getting that, even with or without using paid VPN. I also tried Cloudflare WARP turn on and off, still persist...

Or is it because that particular post of mine, is too long?
Sometimes my lengthy post uses lots of text formatting, embed pictr pictures, etc.
It wouldn't make sense to split lengthy post into multiple separate posts...
But those are useful discussion or sharing knowledge ones la, not Kopitiam section.

Even without a VPN you're sending in strange attack sequences from your browser. What exactly are you trying to post?

I have encountered this same page when I want to login and logout by clicking the login and "Log Out" button. I have to login via "register an account" then fill up my login credentials in the subsequent page which says something like the forum is not open for new users registration.

This happens whenever I am in HK and not in MY. Can you check this cloudfare Ray ID and check my account's issue?

Yes, recently I seem to have that problem too, ie after I had made many posts in a short period or when my post is quite long or with a few quotes = had to either wait or change to shorter posts or to unquotes to clear the problem.

Seems, Cloudflare is doing the filtering/challenging, eg the Capcha, but most of the browsers are failing the "abnormal" challenge.

In my case, ie using the Kiwi browser, disabling VPN, manual DNS or extensions/addons, or using in-cognito mode or another "vanilla" browser like Opera, did not solve the problem.
