Hi... Can I ask those who has a PS3 whether PS3 has anything like the Xbox live services where gamers can chat thru the console or can invite other to join an online game??
Since now they have drop the console price, it's look very tempting to get a PS3 than a Xbox 360... Thanks. |

PSN (Playstation Network)...and u dun have pay for the online service or to play MP online Since now they have drop the console price, it's look very tempting to get a PS3 than a Xbox 360... Cool.. that's great to hear. So does their 0nline service as good as xbox live? Can we see who's online and chat with them??

yes you can see who's online and tough i never tried it before, i did see a chat option from the cross bar
PS3 the best |

To be honest, I believe the X360's LIVE service is very much more capable than the PSN, although Sony has been catching up. This is due to LIVE's maturity vs PSN's infancy in terms of development stages.
MS's LIVE platform is also streamlined and handled by MS themselves, as opposed to Sony who basically still lets developers handle the multiplayer components of their games themselves. But speaking as a PS3 owner, I can tell you that PSN is very functional (for all the needs you mentioned) and I imagine it will only improve over time as they try to catch up with MS. Just my 2 cents. |

Yah man.. i still like PS3 more than 360... heheh.. and now they have reduced the price so probably will get it b4 christmas... kekekkee
