Anybody knows any good routers that we can use with tomato firmware in maxis fiber ?
Mainly use in office, so will expect plenty of connections, need high spec router, also should be flash-able with tomato, since many settings in the old router can just copy over, and they provide basic loggings.
Thanks.
Budget ~1k+
prefer brand asus.

QUOTE(Jjuggler @ Jan 9 2023, 02:39 PM) Go for ASUS AX82U or AX86U (need to fork extra cash on this). If you are looking for better flexibility, go for the HND platforms supported by Asus-Merlin. This firmware is slightly superior compared to the stock ASUSWRT firmware. Things you should know: 1. RT-AX82U's merlin firmware is a fork by an Italian developer based in Finland. (you can download the firmware here => gnuton ASM fork2. RT-AX86U by default supported by the OG developer of Asus-Merlin firmware. I personally haven't used RT-AX82U with ASM (asus-merlin) fork version. So I wouldn't dare to comment about the performance of the firmware. Else, I've a good experience with Asus-Merlin firmware. Trust this helps. Cheers. currently using this Fresh tomato + RT-AC67U so far so good.
