Tumpang this post. How about any recommended IPTV subscription for Android TV Box to watch World Cup 2022 on TV? Don't mind paying a bit more as long as smooth streaming without much buffering.

Cancelled Astro recently and do not want to be bound by contract just to watch World Cup 2022 for 1 month.

Followed this thread advice to check out Sooka. But unfortunately don't have Smart TV that is supported by them.

RTM does not broadcast all matches.

Thanks all in advance.

Well if you have a VPN like Nord (or others) that can get you to Indonesia server.. you can try Vidio.
They have a specific package just for the world cup, and pretty sure they have an app on Android TV.

I've previously used Mola for watching EPL last season on my TV, it was like rm18 ish a month lol. Full HD. Much better than Sooka & Astro just in terms of viewing experience.
But sadly this season they change EPL broadcast license in Indonesia from Mola to Vidio.
So the way I pay for Mola is just through my maybank card, just activate international transfer etc
IDK if Vidio accept international payment - otherwise you'll prolly have to buy "credits" through other platform
And I'm sort of lucky cos I tumpang my friend for nord vpn.

so yeah less than rm30 for all world cup matches I mean sounds like a good deal, I might as well get this
Sooka sucks ass, idk if its their server or something but at times I get that buffering love icon in the middle of my screen which is really annoying if you're just into the game

But not sure if can access here in Malaysia, maybe with VPN.. But I don't know how personally🥲
You have any idea?

don't go for beIN, cos you have to subscribe to BEIN in that particular region.. so I'm guessing MENA region for that.
and the cost, well..

looking at this it looks like we prolly don't have to subscribe to any streaming service cos ITV & BBC won the rights.. just need a good VPN to sort it out aha

Thanks for your advice and recommendation. Any idea whether the World Cup Live matches by Vidio will have commentator in English or Bahasa Indonesia?
*
can't say myself cos I haven't tried Vidio, I've used Mola previously. Usually the commentators are english and the pundits during half time talk or prematch would be in Bahasa Indonesia.

Suddenly so many UK citizens during World Cup

Last time I did this was during the 2016 World Cup. BBC was smooth, but ITV was hit or miss
*
yea it's definitely going to be a hit or miss this time especially if we're using any free vpns cos we know the UK servers would get bombarded lol
I haven't had much problems with ITV on Nord.. then again I can't guarantee anything cos pretty sure a lot of users would be subscribing to VPNs
I think BolehVPN got a server in UK.. can give that a try, quite cheap too.
