This movie is HK highest grossing movie at US$9.9 million but it pales in comparison to China’s box office.

Even if this movie opens in Malaysia, Singapore and Taiwan and is a box office hit, the total gross won’t even contribute much compared to China.

I think it did not do too badly in China but the movie was too costly to make and needed total box office of US$150 million to break even.

I think by selling to Netflix, Louis Koo might have break even from his investment.

CGI is good but approach is cringe.

These actors are associated with slap stick comedies. Its like watching jim carrey in action blockbuster.

i don't have much hope for movies with heavy cgi

all the funds go to cgi, leaving less budget for script development usually

of coz there are cases where the cgi works with the story line and makes a movie great. but it's few and far in between
