Any comment on this laptop? Spec-wise, quite good for the price. Just worry on the support (heard a lot of terrible stories of asus support)

If you want a labtop that last very long get a lenovo. The design from asus is bad.

Yea... this is one of my concern as well. But the OLED colours are very good.

Lenovo can get mx550 dedicate GPU and good bang-olufsen sound le.

yup... my phone also OLED, so far no issue with burn in.

OLED burn in on ASUS laptops is mitigated with features like pixel refresh and pixel shift. The tech quite mature d lah, TV also OLED how many years d.

Been using the grey color unit for the past 35 days. No major complaints so far. Only the screen glare/ reflection is too excessive. Can stick custom matte screen protector becoz it is non-touch panel.

The SO-DIMM DDR4 3200 MHz RAM can be upgraded to 16GB max. So, the total RAM is 4GB (on-board) + 16GB (SO-DIMM) = 20GB.

I got a problem azhar, i cant install any software in it. Example, i download notepad++ then i click run with admin, run without admin, click many times but nothing happen. Even i check the task manager, doesnt show any the task is initiated despite several times clicking on it. But when i used flashdrive with installer software, it can run and install without problem. Is there setting i need to tweak inside? Really dislike w11 now...

Maybe u need to login as Administrator (?) ... meow don't have issues at all...

Apparently i figured out the issue then, looks a smartscreen defender. I checked the file properties, apparently at the bottom says the file from unknown source, yada yada click here to unblock so i tick the unblock and abl3 to update the graphic driver to the latest. I check around security but there isnt smartscreen toggle to mess around. Damn, w11 so bloat and pain in the use to use. Is there any tinkering you done to you s14 once you use them? I want optimize to the fullest and take care of the oled so can delay burn in.

No tweaking... all default settings... meow login using Microsoft account and not local (aka offline) account...

Meow have Microsoft 365 account. So, all data is syncing into the 1TB OneDrive and Microsoft eco-system...

Meow's not expecting anything on battery life when using any laptop / ultrabook ...

But for casual non-gaming non-content-creating productivity usage pattern, can last 6 hours from 100% down to 20% with all settings default from factory...

Yes. But ensure we install the correct MHz...only DDR4-3200MHz SODIMM... must be 3200MHz...


If you r still not confident, just visit any trustable computer shop to open and install any 16GB RAM stick on-the-spot...
