QUOTE(teslaman @ Nov 2 2022, 11:26 PM) How is he going to fit RTX 3060 Ti?QUOTE(vapanel @ Nov 2 2022, 11:32 PM) That board is nono. Going to power limit 13600K like hell. MSI B660M Mortar or Asus TUF B660M-Plus is minimum recommended for 13600K. leggera liked this post

For balanced use 13600k seems the best. |

QUOTE(lemonish @ Nov 24 2022, 08:08 PM) Good to know Yes, check the features. There are some differences.Though the price difference with entry level z690 such as MSI PRO-A isn't that much, should've consider this instead, right? lemonish liked this post

QUOTE(lemonish @ Nov 24 2022, 08:08 PM) Good to know If you go for overspecced B660s like Mortar, or Aorus or Tuff boards of course they cost nearly as much as basement Z690s. For i5 series that is overkill. Get more reasonably priced B660m like MSI Pro-A or Bazooka, or even Asrock PG Riptide that are much cheaper but with VRM that will comfortably run that 13600K to the max rated power 180W. Put it under 360/420 AIO will run even faster. Why bother Ocing when you can run that high?Though the price difference with entry level z690 such as MSI PRO-A isn't that much, should've consider this instead, right? If only I know this earlier (since I'd never plan to OC anyway) ahahaPreviously was looking for Z690 MSI Pro-A Wifi (since last time can get around RM1k), but couldn't find any. The only stock available is the Z790 Pro-A Wifi priced at RM1335 in my area. Am gonna use with either 13600k/13700k & 360AIO, didn't know a B660 board will suffice Welp, too late now huhu |
