Hi, i want to buy a bike though easy payment plan. Ask 2 shops in meru about it and both says need to pay one time fee 7% for 24 month (maybank) and 10% for 36 months (public bank). Better take hire purchase. Hahhaa. I know that it's illegal for these shops to impose such fee on customers. But i dont want the hassle of reporting them to bank negara. So do you guys know any shop in kl/selangor area that doesn't impose these ridiculous fees?
BTW i want to buy the new modenas (kawasaki) z250

what if you apply for personal loan from a bank and then pay off the loan there? Wouldn't it be better ah?

But EPP is legit. The point of EPP is 0% interest if no late payment. The problem is some of these store owner illegally charge customers 7 to 10 %. If mark up 2% or 3% i can understand. But 10%? Almost same as hire purchase that is 12%+ (3 years) |

These shop normally offers shop loan. For the ones doesn't offer shop loan, they have no issues with customer buying the bike cash.
Welly doesn't offer shop loan. They are more than happy if customer buy cash.

On some more popular kapchais with waiting list, the bikes itself are low margin, they make from shop loan or HP commission. They might not even want to sell you a bike on cash. I think that's why they want extra for CC payment. |

Yeah it’s normal they charge extra 7-10% for epp purchase Advertisement advertise 0% epp but they jack the base price of the Motor Was eyeing for the aprillia and got to know from this website XD https://www.dreamshop.com.my/vc/ |

I asked Kien Hin Motor at Jalan Pahang, they say no charge for credit card payment. That's 2 years ago at least.
