The cherry of this, complain coming from people who not even from that uni or maybe even never even any convocation before.

Because of the dress code, abcxyz uni is backward and low class.

Topkek, u go against any dress code at any event and see how people boot you out from the premise.

These people are the one who wear casual colorful dress in a black tuxedo event.

Yes they can set any rules they want but we can also criticize their rules. Works both way la pundek. The issue is not colorful dress in a black tuxedo event, the issue is how come Malay traditional dress is allowed but other traditional dress is not. No wonder UTM considered sohai university when got alumni like you.

Because baju kurung is somehow fit the dress code?

Baju kebaya is banned also.

So, why the butthurt?

Also, I'm just an alumni, why do I need to get involved in their regulation? They no give me money, I don't give them money.

Our mutual relationships end when I get my accredited certificate.

If you butthurt of their rules, go complaint to the HEMA office or something.

Just ranting here like kids, for what?

You do realize that they set the dress code right? They DECIDE that baju kurung is part of the dress code ya? It's not as if they go:
"OK time to decide Dress code. 3 cm from ankle, 2 cm max from wrist. Hmm let's check which type of clothings fit into this dress code?" "Ok baju kurung fit, oh too bad baju kebaya don't fit".

They MADE baju kurung to be part of the dress code, there's no fit or whatever la.
Topkek betul, if this is UTM grad level I donno what to say.
