» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Hey thanks for sharing ur score. It looks to be performing well, maybe yes slightly under the average. IINM 3D mark's GPU score is just for the GPU only (unlike the overall result) so it might be that OCPC lower power limit is the factor for the slight underperformance. Altho I doubt it would impact much or at all in terms of gameplay. I wouldn't mind shooting for that if the Manli wasn't around. |

QUOTE(boyz @ Nov 13 2022, 03:36 PM) Hell no, I would not and NEVER support these miners! Not only is the GPU lifespan doubtful, I would rather let them stew with their filthy overpriced mining gear now with the collapse of crypto and not help them a single sen. You can argue but that's my policy |

I just got a OCPC 3060TI. Saw some people saying it runs on 170w which is true. However, if you look at the youtube reviews, there are a bunch of other cards https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9N4_dMHpu1I (here) which also runs at the same waltage.
It's basically a non OC GC, so if you just plan to plug and play without the fuss to meddle with stuff, then it's relatively the best option out there for now considering the following:- 1) GPU prices are EXPECTED to fall more next year with Nvidia releasing their mid range 40's followed with AMD 2) Performance is relatively the same with the other 170's or in some cases better since it's a wider GC by default (more heat surface area to both absorb and disburse). It runs around 1800-1900Mhz (boosted) clockspeed playing Cyberpunk. 3) The best price to performance card out there right now if you're (like me) going to upgrade to a 4060 (which rumors say will give even the 3090 a run for it's money). 4) More GC's in the second hand market due to miners trying to recoup their investments due to mining being less profitable This post has been edited by Kenngan7012: Nov 30 2022, 06:05 PM |

Planning to get a 4060 Ti 8 or 16 GB.
Is anyone here also in the same boat? Where to get one at the best price? Cheaper if from overseas online? |

QUOTE(plumberly @ May 21 2023, 08:00 PM) Thanks. Most likely in some games, 8gb gpu ram is just not enough for some games and performance/graphic quality was hurt by a lot. There a lot of talks on this topic recently….Mind sharing why: * 16 GB (8 GB not enough for Davinci video editing?) * local (cheaper? which shop?)? Thanks. |

I was browsing the VIsiontek website and actually saw a bunch of OCPC cards listed as "OCPC by Visiontek"? I have never heard of OCPC before this, but I have heard of Visiontek. Not sure if they do still design their own cards or as the thread previously mentioned is only Manli rebranded cards.
