Hi all, planning on replacing my PC soon-ish. Not planning to change all at once. How much could I sell each of the following realistically (preferably as a set, but wanting to see how much it'll be individually too)?

CPU: Intel I5 3570K
Motherboard: Asus P8Z77-M
RAM: 8GB Kingston Value Ram (4GB x2)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 612S + 2 Fans

Thank you.

will be tough to be higher, but no harm to try.

nonetheless, the buyer is either a reseller (so he/she will want to get the set for cheap to make a profit), or wants one of the component as backup or replacement (the mobo is usually the part in higher demand).

The longer you hold on to it, the more you lose. 3570K 3rd-gen processor are 10 years old model. We are now 13th-gen already. Let it go and get back what you could, asap.

I sold my old 6th Gen CPU, 8GB RAM, 1TB Sata HDD for RM600 during pandemic (MCO time).

If you don't mind to keep it and run it as server, cost if you selling also it would be below RM200. I have a Celeron laptop still running now act as a TV box/media center after installing Linux on it. You can even run it as server to for many other purpose. If you have no space to keep then no choice but sell it out or donate it to charity or NGO.

If 6th gen is going for that much, I might reuse my PC as a server.

I'd donate it if I decided not to reuse.

Thank you smile.gif

As long it could still be able to run Windows 10, they don't really mind. I have sent many before to them for those computers that my customer usually left uncollected in our shop.

3rd generation to run Windows 10? Very slow. I have experiencing many user running Windows 10 on 6th generation i5 already user complaining very slow and laggy when open too many Word and Excel. Run I believe it can run but slow. 3rd generation Intel processor is designed for Windows 7. Maybe rural area they still accept. Many in Penang island and KL do not accept it anymore coz they will reply you saying those are too slow so they prefer newer processor and higher RAM. Me and my friends try to donate some old PC during MCO but they reject us. So at the end my friends go sell it on Mudah. At that time, each of us donate one unit and a group of old friends we donate our old one, basically from i3, i5 and Celeron processor (all 4th generation and below) PC and laptop.

Well, that really depends on how good are you optimizing the Windows 10 system. I can optimize Windows 10 equivalent to Windows 7 level of performance. It's all good, and they are very happy accepting it from us. happy.gif
