i think i would skip the single cylinder 250SL EXCEPT cost factor.i have a 250R carb, maintenance + consumption is on the high side.
Single cylinder will save some.... not to mention lighter weight.
But 250SL resale value is poor. so u may buy cheap, sell even cheaper....
250R wont go wrong (fuel injected), 7-8k is a very good price
