apple one in malaysia had always been too cheap, it was like 30% more expensive than malaysia last time, but i guess with the price increase now I'll just unsub apple one and just keep icloud. I'll rather just directly buy the music albums

It will definitely be new pricing. Apple One is not a yearly contract. It's monthly renewal.

Unlike your internet contract with Time or Unifi - which is a 24 month contract and price remains the same for the 24 months.

I might as well sub iCloud+ (RM3.90) and Arcade (RM19.90) separately.

yeah i would just keep the icloud only and just buy the music albums. Most albums are rm29.90 to rm39.90

TM a bit different though, out of contract for more than a year, still on old pricing of RM159.

i already have youtube family which includes music.
and appletv+ content is disappointing.

No price increase for November.

Increase will be effective from December onwards.......

lets put some hypothetical dates in, just assume all dates in same month.

if next renewal on 21st,
and i decide to switch from One RM19.90 to Arcade+iCloud RM23.90 (avoid One RM29.90) on 13th,

then the next renewal date will be base on (to)day i change plan? or upon expiry of One RM19.90?

Old price is only applicable to what you are currently paying.

Any changes to the plan - prices is based on what is written.

i'm no longer concerned about the price.
resigned to the fact that price is revised.

i am concerned of the date of next renewal if i change plan half-way through existing plan.

will the new ala-carte plan and charged take effect immediately (and future renewal be based on "today") i.e did not wait for One RM19.90 to expire on 21st?

or will new ala-carte plan only start taking effect after 21st? (and renewal will stick to future 21st)

I think they align the dates to renew together… I have Apple one and current on 3 month trial on Apple Fitness. Some how the renewal dates are on the same date.

Only challenge is when stranger uses more iCloud data versus agreed upon…

Other than that…. Don’t foresee any challenges

so Nov 21st came, Apple One renewed at RM19.90, and the re-pricing notice arrived.

I then switched to ala-carte Arcade+iCloud.

It didn't refund. The current One will continue until the supposed next renewal date Dec 21st, which only then will be RM23.90 for the new ala-carte.
