If its engine oil leakage, can I top up engine oil and drive to workshop for repair - is it safe?

Hi guys. I have a Proton saga FLX and my engine was able to start this morning but then, when I wanted to start driving, it couldn't move. However, I restarted the car back and finally it can move (albeit jerkish). Just now, the car completely stop, can start but cant drive.
What is the issue of it? Engine oil leakage? How to troubleshoot and repair it? If its engine oil leakage, can I top up engine oil and drive to workshop for repair - is it safe? |

Yes, its automatic CVT transmission. It is not engine issues?

It's transmission related, most likely low oil.
