ex employee here. typical mindset is all cina company macam huawei, partly true. benefit is meh unlike MNC. but CSI salary and bonus is macam huawei. good esp if u business development side. your payslip always see a lot surprises. sometime i'd also forget which project i contributed b4 but still get rewarded.

when u say bonus on par with Huawei means 6 months bonus payout?

well, i took a paycut joining a western MNC, so yea the same role is higher paid in CSI compared to western company.

yeah, but at least work hard party hard get paid hard. and when i say party, i really meant party, if u know what i meant. night clubs, etc. all paid for.

hmmm example :
- during tender submission, we worked our ass off, can stay in office more than 20 hours a day for the week..
- during project deployment week, work til 8pm go happy hour minum beer come back office continue at 12am...
- makan minum with clients that is for sure, even go to night club and all, customer do what u must teman... makan dan minum
- boss mari, minum minum minum minum minum.. if u no minum means u no respek boss.. and u gotta bottoms up.. and sometime u gotta drink 'white' wine
- sometime boss belanja go 'massage' u just join, foc.. together-gether go see aquarium choose girl.. next day back office everything normal.. sometime ktv also
- dont need worry no good food eat... company wont let u hungry..

not sure when u say no life... is this considered 'life' or not.. some ppl like me old liao kahwin liao got anak liao, this is not my life liao.. but 10 yrs ago, yeah it was life... super work life balance.
it's a place only for performer. if u cannot perform, they will show u the door.

it's common lah.. ZTE, CSI, Huawei, and those other china company..
my ex-colleagues from huawei went to ZTE, they lagi wild... always travel in APAC for project deployments.. salary rm30k yea
