After God knows how long, I'll be getting my new car. Yes, it a proton so nothing to be excited about, but it's my first brand new car. Past cars were 2nd hand ones, so mostly just buy, use and abuse thr car only.

After inspecting the car and collecting from the showroom, what should I do first to get it ready? Things like tinting and stuff like that. Its a white car, so should I do anything to protect the paint?

Any ideas are much appreciated.

Coat it, put a bra on it and tint it.

Inside buy trapo mats, seat covers and steering covers. Dashboard cover also if got budget.. oh and a front and back dashcam

Depends how much spare cash you have, plenty of accessories that you can buy to customize your car

dont understand the needs for dashboard cover ..if shit happen it will kacau your passenger airbag deploy timing (or worse..airbag fail to deploy properly)

Something cheap you might want to consider for long term. There is a sticker you can buy to protect the area behind the outer door handles. pain in the ass to touch up the paint but scratches are plenty in that area

Also, maybe a cigarette lighter powered tyre inflator since most of us are lazy to check spare tyre pressure.

And also be prepared to top up the tools in your toolkit. Nowadays sometimes pliers also takdak.

@TS instead of security get a heat rejection one.. to me heat rejection tint more important and alot of these heat rejection tint good ones are 3mil onwards.

Break-in or run-in the car.... drive max at 3k rpm for first 500km, then max 4k rpm for the other 500km. after that service and change oil and oil filter.

Can redline the car afterwards.

Must fully PPF the car once come out from showroom. U will regret ur white car very soon become scarred and yellowish.

That is what I thought too. That is why plan to get the car and see how bad is the current tint.

Any recommendations on what brand of tint I should go for? Want something good, but don't want to end up breaking the bank.
