Long story short, I wanna start to work as food delivery rider and like to get some opinions about which is best to work for right now between Grab food, Lalamove and Foodpanda.

And I heard rider has to pay some deposit before start the Grad Food job so is Lalamove or Foodpanda also the same ??

Shopeefood coz i only buy from them now. They are the only one offering free delivery

Which means ts should avoid shopeefood because free delivery means he would get paid shit.

That's good for customer stand point but obviously I concern about how much is the average order's volume and the earning as a rider

Any job with better paid is proper regardless short or long term, part or full time.
I mean what's the point to work as a full time rubbish collector if the paid is much lesser than a part time delivery driver ??

what i mean a proper job, is that you can improve your skill, so you can moving up or open your own shop, etc
so you can increase your income in future

as a food deliver, to increase your income only can via do longer time.

Panda these days giving 30 free delivery per month if you sub to their Pro plan which was dirt cheap (forgot price can check past /k topic). Then use their discount code Ten -10 (runs out around 6.30pm) or pestapanda -13.50(limited to few restaurants).

You can consider it alternative to Shopeefood. Over in Pg I never use Shopee because I see choices here limited.

I don't know who ensure you that running a business sure guarantee earn more income, what I can see is that many business man do struggle running their business for years and many even finally go down so what's the big deal.
At the end of the day, how much one can earn per month is what really matter.

By the way improve one skill has nothing to do with the job, it's all about the person themselves. People who want to improve will take every opportunity to learn even if they just doing some part time job and people who lazy will not bother to learn anything new even if they are working on a so call proper job or running own business.

There never a "sure win" or "sure loss" formula in life, it's all depends on how one play it.

for some that just want to earn for living, not upskilling or career advancement, this is good enough

I think u can do all. I have seen shopee food pickup GRAB/FP orders as well.

Exactly this. Beside what kind of "proper job" now can at least make RM1,500 per month with 100% flexible schedule and be own boss ??

Pay might differ from time to time when they adjust the scheme but some already worked few years I guess depend on individual how you see it. Not totally unworkable.

I think u need 2 phones to do both. When u doing grab, turn off the lalamove app lo. If doing lalamove, turn off the grab. Can try shopee food too

I believe all those apps can be use on the same sim card and ON together otherwise one will need 5 phones if he/she work for Grab / Lalamove / Foodpanda / Shopeefood / AirAsia food together at the same time.

I think got rules say cannot do both.. thats why they hav different number or phones. Sometimes i see grab pick-up my lalamove order and vice versa

I guess you can at least ON as many apps as you want at home with 1st come 1st serve basis meaning accept any job that come & turn off the rest and back all ON again when you get back home later & repeat. I might be wrong but I think it should work.

If the job can guarantee high paid who want to do both or more ??

Free delivery doesn't mean rider get nothing lah. It is for grab and seller to bear me think.

if shopeefood you need kful oh, merchant sometimes didn't open but didn't close in shopee, rider went there only know and call and inform me the merchant tak de buka la bang, gg

and then realize the long term one cannot pay for your living and being picky about u

And the fact is that at least 90% employees who work on those long term job are struggling to at least live somewhat decent life.

bag price rm150 will deduct from your pay aka wallet fp and grab (refunable)
both also i do b4 and still curentlly doing grab.....abit over 2 years liao

the time freedom is out of this world yo...grab only....
doing fp u will still be on a chain (shift)

Also Grab need to pay RM150 for the bag ?? So expensive. Can claim back or not ?? How about Food panda ?? How much is the bag ??

Shitpee charge a high commission on sellers, which sellers then charge a high marked up food price to buyers.

Shitpee then use the commission to launch some promo to subsidise shipping fee or food price. Riders still get paid the full mileage they’re hired for.

Nobody at lose here.

Yes... All riders get paid their due... No deduction on fee even if free delivery voucher used.

Shopeefood when 1st launched.. Their incentives was sky high like per day rm150-200 if hit maybe 20 orders. But nowadays have dropped to maybe 50 or less?

Ya, but at early stage hard to get 20 orders per day too since not much users.

It’s lucrative at early stage, degrading bit by bit. At May only remain RM70+ incentive dy, likely still dropping.

But at least it’s generally still the higher paying one vs FP, grab/lala if you great luck may match.

Does distance & weather affect the rider pay ?? I mean longer distance & raining get more pay on delivery ??

Weather no difference... Further distance usually get paid more iirc.

Dont do... now very less business............... Less people order already... so your earning will be very very less .......

Unless there is another Covid new variant strike....... All afraid going out...

Then business will be good....

The longer the distance, the cheaper per KM ..... so not worth getting long distance that send you to ULU place and then you need to return to hotspot ....

why avoid shopping mall or condo? hassle find parking and taking more time to find the shop?
