Here's question for YES.
Can I buy my own 5G modem which supports the local range of bands from Taobao/Lazada then opt for only SIM plan without contract from YES? It's selling for less than RM800 now online. Can or not YES? I don't like signing on to long term contracts because I might be moving along with my job. Also RM148 for a 100mbps plan seems too costly. |

Can I buy a cheap 5G modem on my own then subscribe to a no contract plan from Yes Wireless Fibre or Unlimited 5G plan? Why I cannot? What is the difference of using it in my phone or my own bought modem when you claim it's unlimited? |
