QUOTE(lee831219 @ Oct 12 2007, 10:43 AM) I'm actually thinking of getting a 2ndhand satria or wira to transplant a 4G91 or 4g93T engine into it.I'm driving a 1.6 satria but since the engine is still smooth and good,so will keep it. |

QUOTE(kazami13 @ Oct 12 2007, 04:13 PM) depend on u Hmm.. Not that expensive..Can consider..let say u wanna convert to DOHC buy a 4g92 DOHC or 4g93 DOHC engine head aka engine kosong then just change the head and timing belt engine moutin must change if u wan better respond, then change the intake manifold, distributor, throttle body, wiring and also ECU then ur car respond like 4g93 DOHC engine but then ur car is still a 1.6cc engine cause u using the same block 4g93 head, cam, valve, intake manifold, distributor, throttle body, wiring and also ECU this part can cost about RM1.5k - Rm2k depend on u getting it 1 set or seperately about bolt on turbo i not sure Added on October 12, 2007, 3:16 pmthe thing i listed not included labour charge yet...about need Rm300-600 if i not mistaken So does it mean more power and high fc? |

QUOTE(kazami13 @ Oct 12 2007, 05:38 PM) yeah.... sound nice to me also Well, you see..I'm still a student but I enjoy driving fast cars.but dunno those paint shop can help me to close up the grill hole or not u can get better power but FC i not sure if u BOT sure high FC if u r a highway runner, FC can reduce city driving with high CC car, im planing to convert to DOHC actually but no money so can dream about it only after u convert to DOHC u can play HI-cam DOHC mean got double over head cam then u can put 2 hi-cam but if u always tekan sure finish very fast Added on October 12, 2007, 4:46 pmlet say u wanna convert to 4g93T halfcut about Rm7k labour and additional cost about RM9k u can do alot of thing with RM9k But that would burn my pocket when i pump petrol..Haha That's why I'm also thinking of 4G91. |

QUOTE(Aeon_Clock @ Oct 12 2007, 11:01 PM) dude, think about it...mod this, mod that...all adds up to a 2nd hand Honda ady, or very close to that amount. Honda will definitely have the power advantage...quality too depending on the year. Think about it...What about the maintenance after that.. The spare parts.. |

Wanna ask you guys something.
My mechanic told me that my Satria uses hydraulic clutch,I find it hard and it does come up very slow, wonder whether is it possible to change back to those ordinary clutch like Iswara and Saga? Prefer those though. Sorry to ask it here but since I thought that wira and satria is quite similar and i do get more response over here. Thanks. |
