Hi everyone,
Just asking your oppinion. I staying Gombak near Taman Sri Gombak area. Can anyone give recommendation to any workshop/foreman in my area? I drive an old wira aeroback first model 1993 1.6xli manual (first owner). Yes I know it's already 14 yrs old jalopy. It's still fully stock as the day I took it from the showroom except I upgrade the bass using an amp/boombox. Everything else is stlll stock even the Blaupankt radio/speakers and the engine has not been touched nor overhauled. I can say it has been generally well maintained. I also had to change the stock 14" sports rim since they were all too banged up but i still maintain the 14" size rims. Never hit anyone or involve in any major accident. Mileage is nearing the 300,000 km and FC is about RM70/400km. No major problem since new. Used engine oil Mobil1 practically since day one change every six mths or <25,000km with original Oil Mit filter. Timing Belt changed every 50-60K km. I just want to keep it up to its optimum operating condition. Not that interested to soup-up like adding turbo or big exhaust. More interested just to tune the car using manual or computer analysis kit to its full potential without being outwardly visible. No spoilers or side skirting or even change the back lights. Prefer handling prowness in contrast to top speed. Got any shops nearby worth exploring. I plan to use my Wira until it becomes a classic (>25 yrs) or Vintage (touchwood). I just love the car though I considered it to be under-powered. My previous car was a 1973 Mitsu Colt Galant 1400GS. Orang panggil Galant Kuda before I bought this Wira. It served me a good 10 years before I retired it. Thanks Attached thumbnail(s) |

Haiyak...i just remember. Put aside the tint signal 1st
I think i need to install spotlight. Dunno if this is my sight problem or my headlamp not bright enuf. When my journey for raya visit, it was raining that night. Quite heavy. Thanks to road lamp, i cant see clearly the white line. Plus incoming car headlamp, i cant see the line completely. So my question is, my eyes problem or the line is not enough enuf white or my headlamp not bright. Will spotlights make it better? This post has been edited by Azuma-kun: Oct 17 2007, 12:04 AM |
