IIANM it shorten the distance between ur gear shifting.... Means for example u change gear one to gear two,this short shifter use shorter distance to shift compared with the original wan......

I think once u suit urself with the shifter its not hard to change d...

The main difference would be the power.... If i were you i would go for 1.6 for its power cause 1.3 and 1.5 are quite underpowered....
Unless you plan to transplant a new engine,then you shud buy the 1.3 for the cheaper price....
Btw,you are getting auto or manual?
