saw Audxeon review not bad.
did you install and tune yourself?
how is your setup?

my car has the below currently
• Front : Component - tweeter and mid
• rear : stocks speakers tweeter + mid is separated (not sure is this component)
• active subwoofer

Planned DSP setup:
• Front 4 channels
• rear 2 channel
• subwoofer 1 channel
is this setup ok?

I just got the basic/cheapest red Audxeon DSP. I would say it is recommended for starters.
I installed myself within 1hr of receiving the parcel. Of couse I did watch a lot of Youtube for my car to understand how to remove panels and run the wire etc.

My setup is
• Front : Component - tweeter and mid
• rear : 2 way speakers
• Passive sub with amplifier

The DSP is very easy to install, Audxeon will require info for what car model and they provide you a plug and play adapter (Y adapter - From HU to DSP, and existing factory adapter from car to DSP)
I place the DSP in my glovebox, and run the adapter from back of HU to the glove box.
I am using existing car factory speaker wire , all taken care by using existing factory adapter.

The basic model requires PC software to configure tuning to each channel, but you can do quick easy sound staging with the app that comes with it.
The higher models tunning can be seen on phone apps, i think.

For your setup, you will need a higher model like 8 channels.

I highly recommend adding a DSP, even if you like other brands, I am happy with Audxeon, the online chat support is good so far, the default DSP tuning setup sounds good for now.

Also, I did my installation in stages.
1st round , replace factory speakers (front and back) with my after market, result was very satisfactory but i feel something is missing, like staging and bass.
- Round 1A - had to install some sound deadening butyl to eliminate plastic vibration noise from door panels.
2nd round , added DSP, amaze with the staging, the added power from DSP amp instead of HU, sound is now more rich, , speaker bass has improved, and staging is complete
3rd round, added amp and sub woofer, feel very contended..
Next will be finding time to play with tuning with laptop...
Next Next will be adding a capacitor for the woofer

additional info on Audxeon DSP,
You can connect BT directly to the DSP and not to your HU, however I still prefer to connect BT to HU as source.
The DSP offers me to add my amp to power the sub, without needing to change my HU since it has no RCA out for amp.
In comparison with my other car with factory dash center speaker, i dare say the dsp staging is 70 80 % close without a center front speakers. My after market speakers easily beat the factory speakers in terms of quality.

Hi Thanks for Sharing and the detail explanation
Most likely I will get Audxeon

Question: if you are connecting to existing factory speaker wires, then you component set still running crossover or full active?
Looking at the specs and recommendation, i plan to get D1808 (8Ch) model at the sametime tempted to get D8800 (10Ch)
Btw that day itchy went to get full range speaker, and disable my Morel Ultra tweeter. With current setup already can feel the sound clarity and alive to match my Active SW

I have 2 options currently, any comments?

Option 1
Go with D1808 now, upgrade later
Front 2 way active (4ch)/ rear passive (2ch) / SW
With this option probably satisfy me for a year, then will upgrade to 10 CH later

Option 2
Stay with current until budget allow to go for D8800
Front 3 way active (6ch)/ rear passive (2ch) / SW

this supposed to be budget setup as i do not want to spend so much on audio, but somehow after more reading and understanding im greedy now biggrin.gif

Did you get the remote control? The seller mentioned will launch this remote that can function as USB reader/player/controller

keep it budget and save the fun for upgrade later

just buy a pocket friendly DSP like the 1808. if you like your current set up in option 2, 400rm only will bring you next level .
dont forget this is china product , dont know how long they last!

what full range speaker you got? How can it be better then your Morel ultra ... I am not into Full Range tweeters, I think is very wrong.
No bass remote, i dont see this in my seller shop. make sure you get the official seller. they give good support. Audxeon Shopee

my Morel ultra is 2 way, i don't get the clarity for mids and highs. somehow adding this full range (21M1-2SQ) and disable my tweeter, i felt totally different.
i know that is not the right way but i am good for now until i have the budget to go for a full active 3 way system.

they just posted the controller in Shopper

Low price but good quality DSP, i would recommend Crossfire & Rockpower brand.. usually it has build in amp, 4 channels / 6 channels / 8 channels based on models..

Remember the price tag is low & not super cheap.. because it has quality.

don't go for too cheap DSP, ussualy it will be oem brands.. the amplifier chip wont be good to power up ur speakers & difficult to get firmware & tuning software upgrades in long term usage.

if use 3 way, usually will use to power up pair of tweeter, pair or midrange & pair of midbass speaker.. this all for front. remaining 2 channel will be used for subwoofer.

i am not using my rear speaker. 3 way setup usually pleasure for the driver only.. The midrange & tweeter angle will be positioned for driver listening pleasure mostly.

its subjective how good quality you wanted bro. To achieve high end SQ setup is expensive hobby actually. If you always with drive with family & you wants ur family also enjoy good quality sound.. u would consider powering rear speaker also. Remember you need DSP with more channels.

what is your current setup bro? Morel ultra is a SQ oriented and should be good for vocal and clarity..

Been used morel maximo and tempo ultra before.. but the speakers sounded very well after i changed my amp and headunit.. so the sound quality is also depend on the entire system/hardware bro..
