Hi all,

I was wondering if i have a place to be converted into a gamer's hideout, would it be favourable? Anyone like to hang around in places like that?

Suggestions / opinions are welcome. I'm pretty serious in creating a clubhouse for gamers base on interest but 1st i need some respond/feedbacks before proceeding. Thanks!

well, it's free entrance of course but only to members (from forum...free also) as that makes it more private.

Cafe wise, no ler..... wifi is a must.... consoles would be installed too.

Gamerz Hideout can be changed to any name suitable.

As for location, ahemm.... definitely accessible to everyone (not to reveal yet).

Now it's still under planning progress.... stay tuned!

wicked! you guys certainly have good interest for me to come up with this. A few answers to some of your questions.

1. Wallplugs/power supply will be installed for sure.

2. Free Wifi

3. Membership are for those who r registered in the forum and r interested in consoles.

4. Profits are being generated in another way to keep this clubhouse going.

5. It'll be more than you guys would know what i'm about to offer for the term of Entertainment!

6. It's gonna be a place to hangout... not to fight!.... we learn stuffs everyday there..... that's my wish.

7. Any DS fans? I know shit about it as it's not on my list.

8. I would need 3 nominated Moderators (any volunteers?)

9. Something good/awesome for the community.

this place would have couches/sofas with carpeted flooring which permits shoeless entry. Snacks & drinks are probably sold here. No outside f&b allowed....sorry but there're some house rules.

Playstation will have the highest % overall.... i need a writeup from those whom the wish to be mods in order to determine their experience on consoles.

360 don't want? why not?

there will be PS2, 3, WII, X360 installed (planned). PSP....bring your own

the place would easily fit 20 - 30 ppl

will add-on a small theatre room later on.

hmmm.... membership fees... what do u guys reckon? what reasonable price should i charge?

I'm in need of moderators seriously.... me alone cannot make things work so, pls email me your details... a/s/l, expert in which console(s), etc...

Are there any experts around in designing? need some designs for the membership card. Logo will be named, GAMERZ UNITED (as per request unless there're more suggestions).

Guys remember this, i'm pumping about 30k into this. Make sure we all make full use of it to learn from one another. There'll be reviews, lessons, tournaments, hackz & crackz, mods, etc...

Also, i'll be meeting up (today) with a few consoles distributors for our club to purchase any consoles stuffs cheaper than any other outlets/dealers are selling and some sponsorship in our events held.

design of logo & membership card & shirt is in progress..... and sorry guys, it won't be called Gamers United.

membership has been concluded as per yearly basis and the amount of ppl (a lot of 'em) who emailed me, will get their own confirmation from me later on.... fees will definitely not exceed RM100 as per request but yet to confirm what's included.

Also, we r getting privileges such as purchasing any consoles or it's accessories will be cheaper than any dealers/outlets prior to the discussion with distributor today.

Still finalizing if distributors are gonna sponsor us some prizes.

alrite guys, here's the thing.... space is 22ft x 80ft which is very big with 5 rooms. Parking wise, as i've mentioned before, "next to LRT station" meaning there would be parking there if not by the office itself.

and yup, i've gotta bear rental, utilities, maintainance, etc.. of this place.

this is a place for hardcore gamers...not for those faint hearted as to stick their hands on the controller and head to the TV.

this is also educational purposes just that it's subject is focused on consoles (who dare say there's nothing good to learn in consoles?).

last but not least, for the things that i'm coming up with, the hardest part is the licenses to operate such primises as it's not ony 1 but a few to be obtained.

i'm keeping my fingers x!

Added on October 24, 2007, 9:25 pmalright guys, i've gotten some answers pertaining to the licenses.... basically, biz license is ok (that's easy) but for 2 more licenses that i wanted, it's not as easy as i thought it would be therefore, i'm gonna dig in further on how to obtain it for another week else i would hafta come up with something new.... if not, rental deposits r down the drain. sigh.... complications all the way!
