If I go from mid tier let's say big 6 in sg to big 4 in Malaysia can I get higher position?

If you want to settle down Malaysia is the best. Work your way up then change job. Big 4 work like shit. worse then dog

What sort of pressure and stress you are having there? Can you elaborate on your answer? Thought you joined Big Four in Malaysia before moving on to Singapore?

I wonder if a non big 4 firms / mid tier in sg is really “value added” for you to get a higher post. Tbh I think the workload / working style for MY Big 4 and SG Big 4 actually quite similar. IMO don’t think that 1 year exp associate in SH Big4 is being considered as a first year SA here in MY Big 4, what’s more if you are from SG mid tier

assuming from associate applying to be a senior associate?

or senior associate applying to be a manager?

no, i dare to say they won't give you a higher position unless you are exceptional
