It's been awhile since I buy any games from steam but did the local banks blocked all credit card transaction on Steam? Can't seem to purchase, in the end gotta use tng to buy

update: ok memang blocked, just called CS and it was unblocked after 2 minutes

you need to call the bank to unblock then wait 1 hour.

Call bank. Ask allow transaction.

Once I realise got TNG option I rarely use cc.

Call the bank's customer service to unblock. I unblock mine for 1 day. There are too many scams and misuse of cc these days. I say this is good practise by the bank.

My prepaid card still have a lot of credit, may I know is there a cheap way to utilise credit for Steam credit?

Cheapest I found is RM200 steam gift card for RM270 on prepaid... so expensive...

I think they auto block the card when you dont use it for too long. It gets flagged as irregular activity.

i guess so , since last time got no such issue with Steam, funny thing is it's happening across few credit card (different banks) , all 3 cannot checkout. I think i tried debit card as well, also cannot

yea my cc got rejected during payment also. then i realised can use ewallet, immediately deleted my cc from steam

tng works la but prefer checkout using cc straight

Banks block steam transaction by default, need customer to call them every time to unblock temporarily.

Switch to TnG better, sometimes can claim steam discount voucher and use it during purchase, range from RM0.20 to RM2.00
