Hi, first time house buyer here, Currently I have a Type A unit at Hype Residence booked but am now seriously considering ditching that and go for a SAMM unit here instead since it's more affordable for me. What do you guys think and is there even any still available? Also, is this fully furnished? Can't seem to find any info on this.

QUOTE(Longshot @ Apr 4 2024, 07:51 PM) Why not a SAMM units in Hype since Tower B is launching soon? Or the SAMM unit at the new development Damayan/Sanya/Damai or whatever sdp wants to call it. It's just opposite PH Giant. There's no SAMM unit in Hype, I just checked with the agent who helped me booked my unit and it's also not advertised anywhere otherwise I would have gone with it. Same thing with Damayan, based on Sime Darby's website only Serasi has SAMM unit.

I was planning to get a SAMM unit but then realized it's not gonna be furnished in any way (as in kitchen cabinet is not installed, and other like toilet tiles (?) if I heard correctly) and it might end up being about the same price as the non-SAMM unit if I include the cost of furnishing it so now I'm planning to get Type A at Block B instead. Now I'm deciding between 3rd floor (facing podium) and 22nd floor, every other floor is pretty much snapped up. There's about a 30k difference between both floors. I actually prefer lower floors since I don't like the idea of relying on the lift for the rest of my life to take me to my home. Also, is the 3rd floor (for this apartment) considered ok? Will I hear a lot of noise from the bottom? I know most people prefer top floor but I'm trying to find out more good reasons to go with the lower floor.

QUOTE(victorian @ Apr 22 2024, 09:11 PM) Sorry, mentioned wrongly. It's not furnished too. What I meant to say is that stuffs like kitchen cabinet isn't installed along with toilet tiles (if I heard correctly? gotta check again) and other stuffs which the non-SAMM unit has.

Currently I'm considering the 24th floor at Block 2, that's one of the few units available left on that block when I checked a few weeks ago. I actually prefer lower floors but I think it was all taken already. I'm waiting for them to refund my deposit which I paid for Hype Residence so I can book this one, I've been waiting for almost a month and not sure if it's normal for it to take this long to give back our deposit.

QUOTE(BRE @ May 17 2024, 07:56 PM) Bro, can share why you want to buy serasi instead of hype? The monthly payment for the loan is a bit too high for me and I couldn't really afford it, Serasi is lesser by around half. Both place has pros and cons I guess, Hype area is more happening while Serasi is more peaceful I think. I would prefer Hype as it closer to where I'm staying now and the people I know and I'm also more familiar with the area but oh well.
