Hi all,

It has been a miserable week for me. Engaged in a zero-entry cost loan. Bank assigned a lawyer firm to prepare the loan agreement. Signed. One week later, was called up and told that the agreement was wrongly prepared and I have signed it ! Need to re-signed a new set of document. Some sort of title charge-discharge issue cauz my property is under construction.

I didn't feel right about it so I insist to get back all the previous agreements that I signed before I signed the new one. They told me that already 'buang' the old agreements and I can't get it back. End up I called up the boss, request for an official letter stating that the agreements dated xxxxx was wrongly prepared by the lawyer firm and now they prepare the new one ?
I still feel uncomfortable with this. I don't hv frens in legal. Any advise, please ?

i am taking the zero-entry cost. so the bank will paid the legal fees. if i know this would happen, i rather find the lawyer myself. thought wnat to save the hassle, end up more hassles

Thanks for the info. i got the number in HBA but somehow i lost my way in the Malaysian Bar website and couldn't locate the number.
