VDB not performing again, and I am not surprised, despite I am those minority who can see the good of him.

The problem of this squad is, we have quite a lot of "limited function' players.
Namely Sancho, Rashford, Maguire, Fred, and of cuz VDB.

Sancho and VDB.
I said it again & again, these 2 is not performing, definitely yes.
Yet I don't think people know well enough the reason why these 2 is not performing.
People simply think they are bad, cannot fit into the team, that is all.

The fact is both of them are good but too limited functional.
Both of them is only good when we are controlling the game and keep possession more than 70%, literally against a bus parking team.

I dare to say that they are among top 5 players in the squad in terms of vision, running, and passing in final third.

YET, since we are still rebuilding and not a mature team, we are mainly relying on counter-attack or only can be in a 50-50 tight match.
This made them a liability, since they don't fit in Manchester United style of counter-attack at all.
Always change side and unable to stably in bringing the ball to the final third.

The only way I can see them contributing to the team, is being as subs after 60 mins, if it is confirmed that we are controlling the game but unable to penetrate opponent bus parking defence, in which Rashford does badly.
They can't be lineup, unless against really literally weak team, such as Maccabi Haifa or Burnley.

In conclusion, it is either they willing to only act as subs, or else they shud leave the team.
VDB still has chance to stay if Ten Hag realized this and explained to him.
Yet I don't think Sancho is willing to just stay as subs.

But if they wanna leave, like I said, they only can choose a team that is always controlling the game most of the time, or else it will be the same.
The only teams I can think of, City, Bayern Munich or PSG.
