Not really, he could always claim that the defender were chasing the ball instead of him.
And judging by the way the defender made no effort to block nor stop him from getting the ball, that does seems to be the case.
Basically it can be argued that the 2 defenders are chasing the ball and they failed to stop Bruno from scoring.
If the two defenders stopped their run and raise their hands, that is him affecting the play. Because his position stopped the defender from defending thus giving clear advantage to Bruno to score.
Anyway that is what I understand from the way the rules was explained.
