Family getting bigger and the time has come to consider extensions for the house. I have 30' x 50' 1.5 storey house and plan to extend the kitchen as well as the upper floor to add another room.
Would a budget below be sufficient to cover wet works, ceiling slab, tiling floor and ceilings, windows and power/fan points?
Kitchen extension additional 5' x 20' & 2nd floor additional room 15' x 12' = RM 50,000




Inflation and possible economy downturn is making me uncertain about the budget. Hope sifus can advice. Thanks.

Roughly ....

5 x 20 = 100 sf and 15 x 12 = 180 sf

Total 280 sf

280 x RM200 psf = 56,000.for basic standard fittings.

Price psf depends on location. Check with few local contractors.

Allocate another 30% for variances.
