Kinda have career dilemma for middle age man. In career should i choose field that pay much more or the one that i more interested but pay kinda low. Previously working in IT security field. Looks like your thread has been moved out of /k so the way how you write (not grammatically) probably shows why you are stuck where you are. What I am referring to is your defeatist attitude saying that it is unlikely you can fight young guys with degrees. There are many people in the field of IT where they don't have degrees but worked their way up through self-learning and online classes. Is it easy? No, it is damn difficult. At the end of the day, you reap what you sow.
