The problem i currently facing is i'm trying to connect my own router to maxis huawei (Echolife HG8240H5) modem, but its showing disconnected. Even when i trying to set up ppppoe connection on Windows 10 also the same.

I dont want to use the maxis tp link (Archer C5v router) , i want my own router connect directly to the modem through PPpoe

The Vlan (Maxis 621) and Pppoe Username and password are correct but it still not working.

Any advice?

Tried resetting the router to factory default and entering your credentials again? Did you plug in the WAN to the correct ethernet port (Port 2 I think) on your GPON?

Make sure use port 2 on modem not anything else.

Try VLAN 11 if the LAN cable was originally connected to LAN1 of the Modem

VLAN 621 should have worked if LAN Cable is originally connected to LAN2 of the modem

Basically, try to figure out which infrastructure your area is on

if TM, use vlan 621 and port 2
if Maxis own infra, use vlan 11 and port 1
