(already sold my Nothing Phone 1 for this 12T series, and still using mi10t for daily driver)

it will be 3.4k if direct conversion from euro, and expect price increase for all newer model lineup from all manufacturer.

I think you misread my statement. I was saying that based on previous experience, our telco will be supporting VoLTE or even VoWiFi for Xiaomi devices.

Btw, just came back from Xiaomi physical store to test the device, and probably will place the preorder as well.

I'm still using Mi10T as daily driver, skipped mi11t series because it was not worth with the upgrade. Based on my testing, mi12t haptic feedback is not that good/premium (at least not up to my expectation). It slightly above mi11t and lower than mi12 lite. Other than that, I'm quite satisfied with the spec.

Probably i will just go with the non pro variant. SD 8+ Gen 1 is good, but I don't really need that powerhouse for my usage.

i believe all xiaomi authorised store have the display since yesterday.

premium haptic feedback is the feeling when you unlock and type on the iphone. it is strong yet subtle. I do agree that for most people they don't really care or noticed about this. But for me, it is really important.


IIRC, someone mentioned that it is the custom tweaked version of the existing D8100 for xiaomi.

1. Online - buy directly from mi store in shopee or lazada. They will ship the device to you.
2. Offline - register your interest, choose the model, select the collection store and pay rm300 deposit. You can collect at your selected store probably on the 13th.

Nothing else to highlight, I already placed an order for 12T.

Personally, i feel that 8GB is the sweet spot. Also, unused RAM is a wasted RAM.

1. Maybe he sell the free gifts separately.
2. Maybe he only take minimal profit margin.
3. Maybe he is doing that to build up the shop reputation - i have seen this many times in shopee and lazada, to increase their rating and attract buyer.

Anyway, to me the shop looks legit, no red flags. Proceed with your own risks.

Just got my 12T.

-VoWiFi is working on DiGi
-built quality, Mi10T is better, feel more solid.
-the USB cable is thick lol. but it is understandable because of the 120w charging.

I have both phones (but already sold my Nothing Phone 1 after 1 month of using it). I do not see any issue with MIUI, in fact it really suits me well (in term of speed and efficiency). Those bad things about MIUI like pre-installed app can be easily removed with just 2 clicks. Just need 1st time tweak to get rid off those built in 'recommendation' aka ads. I do not want to argue MIUI vs other skins/firmware, as it is up to each individuals preference. I tried below phone to replace my Mi10T:
1. S20 FE
2. Moto Edge 30 Pro
3. Moto Edge 30
4. Nothing P1

I think I will use this 12T longer, as I believe I already comfortable with MIUI and its ecosystem. In fact, i will keep my 10T for spare phone, not going to sell it.

Again, it is your choice. Just use whatever phone that you think you're comfortable with.

I'm using 12T non pro now. Everything is up to my expectations especially the battery life. I don't game, so can't comment on that

Been using MIUI since Redmi Note 5, i think MIUI is mature and optimized enough especially on MIUI 12.5 onwards.

Since Mi9T and Mi10T, i never applied tempered glass or screen protector. Only use case to prevent dent and scratch. Anything from Gorilla Glass 5 should survive daily scratches, at least with my usage

Dropped many times especially when the kids were holding the phones. I'm using xundd case and it provide very good protection.

No, i taken out the pre-applied PET let the screen naked. Yes, the keys are pretty good in doing scratch, and there were few hairlines scratches on the screen but i barely noticed it.

Btw, i saw smartdevil already released their TG for 12T series.

Overnight drain was 1% from 11PM to 6AM next morning. 12T variant.

Yes it was enabled previously but disabled from 12.5 onwards IINM.
