imo 12gb is for "heavy users" or futureproofing. Especially for heavy skin like MIUI, the chinese version seems like very demanding on resource that the reasons chinese market prefer more ram like at least 12gb or even 16gb

but for global market, 12+256 and 8+256 is depending on whether you game latest or big titles like GenSh** or something and want to run alongside other apps like chat apps, then 12gb version will be more suitable for heavy users/gamer than 8gb version. if you don't game, 8gb still fine for regular daily usage

Miui hard to tell simply the version unless go into settings>about phone. Miui version is also independent from android base version depending on model

Nope, 12t onwards using china made screen not Samsung

there are brands that provide more than 2-4 years for screen issues like vivo/oppo
most of xiaomi newer devices now have 2 years of default warranty, some with first 6 months screen coverage
definitely not samsung/apple, they want sell extended coverage separately
