The structure of the tyre comprising steel radial plies and nylon/canvass belts is intact and performing as designed.
Heck, the tyre structure is not even 'punished' with a minor or major impactful collision .
Tyre manufacturers do NOT recommend tyre replacement base on collision or impact, why would a cosmetic kacang putih abrasion on OP's tyre sacrificial (rubber) layers justify a tyre replacement????
It doesn't even justify minor or major 'repair' or 'touch up'.
Hence, what we have here is purely fear mongering without technical and structural basis.
Note: Are punctured tyres (with structural steel plies and belts being punched through by iron nails and screws) being typically recommended for tyre replacement???
Best reply ever!Heck, the tyre structure is not even 'punished' with a minor or major impactful collision .

The word here is fear mongering! Everything when there a minor issue, standard reply is to change. 'Tyres are the only thing that grips your car on the road. So dont take chances'
But heck! That's people with little knowledge about tyres.
A little bit little bit change. Why don't change the whole damn car instead since there 'could' be a possibility of parts failure which may cause death.
Truly support this. Unless you drive like a F1 driver everyday, just use it till It's time to change.
