Almost every property agent has something in their sleeve. No such thing as property agency to avoid. Just use common sense, you be fine.

This is business ethics.They can give you better discount compared to property agent that u saw them wearing blazer and chasing u around the mall area or other places. If words go around, no agencies will sign up with them. No agents, be it in any industry cannot compete with principal in term of pricing. |

But these days with difficult competition, prices will work out to almost the same. Agencies might even throw in "referral" or small few Ks worth of cash rebates. The most important thing: 1) Ensure that the agent/salesperson is from a reputable agency, but must also listen and pay attention to what they say and how they sell 2) Ask questions, don't look so eager to buy, do your due research first. See what they play up and promote vs what they try to not talk about. 3) Listen carefully if an agent actively badmouths other projects. If there's smoke, there's fire 4) Ultimately, don't be afraid to shop around, even projects in places or price point you normally don't consider. All projects have pros and cons, depends on your personal taste, goal/needs and financial capabilities to decide which is better. |

from the seller point of viewā¦.avoid agent who try to low ball your property values. Do research on market value of the property prior to engaging the agent.
