Man allegedly breaks into primary school, offers candy to female student

KOTA KINABALU: Police will investigate reports that a man broke into a primary school in Inanam, here, in two separate incidents last Monday and Tuesday.
According to reports, the unidentified man was said to have entered the school toilet before offering candy to a female student.
However, the student refused to accept the sweets.
The following day, the man was seen again going into the surau and the incident was noticed by a student.
Worried about the suspicious incidents, the school filed a police report to seek help from the authorities.
Meanwhile, Kota Kinabalu District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Mohd Zaidi Abdullah when contacted confirmed that he had received a report from the school at the Inanam Police Station.
Following that, he said, the police visited the school to carry out further investigations in accordance with Section 447 of the Penal Code
"So far, the suspect has not been identified and the police team from the Inanam Police Station and the patrol car unit (MPV) have also been instructed to increase patrolling in the surrounding area," he said.
