tried their hot Caramel Macchiato yesterday.
just a bit bitter, but okaylah, can rival Starbucks' taste.

(yes, I am guilty of being addicted to Starbucks' Caramel Macchiato since 2014. Not just Prison Mate Najib, okay?)

One too many in a short span. It became just a normal warung. Been in one, wonder if they are selling coffee or just producing signboard?

Bitter is because of robusta beans which are cheaper.

Either that or the coffee is over extracted.

The very least at starbuck, i felt myself seated in an environment meant for a brew. This Zues, no feel

I rather spend around RM5k on equipment to get good coffee at home. Their coffee quite expensive.

Penang got several outlets. I got see ppl ride motorbikes or vespa to come and buy.

Sure is. I still frequent outlets tho. Now days, only SanFranciso coffee, even Starbuck i skip because non consistency.

Starbucks is still okay but nothing can beat a freshly pulled shot of espresso. I think I am getting a hang of it now and have managed to pull an espresso shot with decent crema on cheap preground espresso coffee. The secret is to preheat the portafilter in hot water and wipe down before loading up the puck.
