dont think is 14 pro max popular, is the 14 plus lame
14 plus should be fetch less unit sales than mini in my opinion

at least not for me, there are quite a lot of my guys friends all opt for pro only, max cannot fit into pocket
the non pro model can drop like you mentioned, make way for mini that has some love from certain peoples

not sure but best go AASP is the waterproof sealant will be apply back if change battery ag AASP

will change to pro only coz cant handle big phone

if there is pro max and ultra
i would say it shud be ultra got periscope pro max dont have just wild guess

above is the phone available date not preorder date
means those who buy from telco or machine or switch or other authorized seller can get their phone on this date

FYI, 14 pro last year boleh land already 2nd batch, one week later than 1st batch countries
announcing Malaysia launch date seems to be started last year right after the Apple Event at Apple Store Malaysia
this year is not first time ya

AFAIK, maxis last year never announce the plan, until open for pre-order, sendiri queue up go in and look at the price...

last time my esim during Xs era to new iPhone, maxis gives free

but during mco started i change back to physical sim i scare cannot go out when my new phone arrives, i changed iphone yearly... physical sim gives me less hassle

as i remember, when maxis enable able to convert physical sim to esim from iphone, they suddenly disable it after few days, macam got problem

those who using maxis physical sim, now have an option to convert to esim directly under iphone setting

thailand got Apple Physical Store mah

yaya, thats the issue last year end, somehow the FAQ is back perhaps if someone visit to maxis can ask about this, maybe they quietly enable it back?

iPhone 12 pro Apple Store pre order is 9PM 6th Nov, this should be first time iPhone can pre order from Apple Store online MY
iPhone 13 pro I get from maxis pre order is 12AM 1st Oct
iphone 14 pro Apple Store pre order is 12AM 16th Sep
all having Friday as pre order date, launch date is a week later

seeing from past years, if Apple Store online MY did not stated time, then it should means 12AM, unless stated time

is up to telcos, switch, machine, lazada, shopee, etc to follow Apple Store pre order date and time, period so far they follow if not mistaken

this question should be easily determine after analysis done

1. usually people will choose contract without doubt if they get phone/mobile subsidy from company they worked for, e.g.: RM100+ subsidy, then they can go for contract with cheaper phone

2. I am with maxis contract every 2 years previously, ended coming Oct for 13 pro (using 14 pro now buy outright)
- my case is, I am paying RM128/month (which I need more data all the while), I get around ~1400 subsidy from maxis, so my 13 pro two years ago i paid ~RM39xx (RRP5499)
- 1400 divide to 24 months is ~RM58

But last year I add on maxis fiber RM59 (30Mbps), my postpaid become unlimited, without subline needed as a consideration, I can just downgrade to RM79 package vs RM128 (RM49 saving per month)
so the question come here,

option 1: i go with maxis for 15 pro (RRP5999), maxis subsidy 1400 for MOP139 plan per month, phone is ~RM4500
option 2: i buy outright pay 5999 without going with maxis contract, i pay MOP79 plan per month
if you think maxis will offer MOP109 for iphone 15 series, then the subsidy I am sure wont reach 1400, telco subsidy is all depends on how much you pay for the plan, it can be more, can be less, end of the day you need to take the subsidy amount divide by 24 months contract and versus monthly plan cost

I will weigh which option is better for now
zerolution is another story, zerolution phone subsidy usually less than normal contract (correct me if i am wrong)

p/s: now phone plan with 5G (DNB) is quite cheap, i would prefer option 2 for now, so i dont get tie with a contract since my data is unlimited

they offer me in maxis app the fiber plan, as i know is 12 months promo only, not sure after 12 months will be back to 89 or not

nobody tested yet, perhaps same like old 14 pro max, 25-27W max as tested for 14 pro max? using any PD charger 30W should be sufficient

two options:

your old 3 pin still can use
BUT you need buy usb-A to usb-C cable

if you want use new iphone cable which is usb-C to usb-C
buy a PD charger which at least provides 20W

option 2 is better as option 1 limited to 5W

option 1, charging will be slow but can prolong battery degration since less heat 😄

if you die die want use old 3 pin 5W charger + new c to c able

i always prefer pro only because i need put in front of pant pocket 😁

usually ~1400 subsidy given for 128 plan, if your plan is higher and cost more it will be more subsidy from maxis

but this year they got 79/109/139/169/199 plan
all the while maxis only offer 128 plan or onwards to be able to buy iphone with subsidy during launch

for past years we only know the subsidy right after go into the queue

this year maxis faq show preoder can be for all new 5G plan
but they mentioned 15 series, not to forget we have iphone 15 ans 15 plus as well
