Previously I used ESR one, not bad. They got included the tools for installation. One set come with 2 pieces, I changed it once a year. Currently using 2nd piece now, so far so good.
But not sure what protection you need la, this one is just very basic one I think. Since I got leather case, been dropping like few times at waist level but nothing happen yet *touch wood*

Are there any authorized dealers that will help to stick tempered glass? I can collect and buy from them. laugh.gif
*
Switch and machines can do it, even some telco will help. Previously my wife sign contract with Maxis, the employee help to stick it. Professional or not, no comment. At least they can stick it without bubble la.

Now got alot of temper glass provide the tools to ease the installation, take like few mins and it's done.

OK, good I will get from Switch or Machines then. What if I buy iPhone from somewhere else and buy the tempered glass from them only, will they help too? Not going for telco sets this time.

Yeah, I know but I don't trust my hands. laugh.gif Usually my oldest sis will do it for me but I don't think I will be going back to my hometown when I have the iPhone.
*
they will help one as long as you bought the tempered glass from them, you just need to ask. Their tempered glass so premium brows.gif

But it also depends on the manpower la

The last time I backed up my phone to replace my iPhone 12 Pro Max battery, my eSIM information was still intact when I restored everything from iCloud. I guess it won't work the same when I change to a new iPhone, right?
*
If same iphone, it is still intact.

If change to new iphone, following is the option you can transfer eSIM to new Iphone

1. Usually, during the iPhone setup process, you will be asked to set up the eSIM. You can simply follow the on-screen prompts to activate the eSIM.
2. If you did not transfer your eSIM during the setup process, you can go to Settings app > tap Cellular > choose Add Cellular plan to transfer eSIM.
3. In addition, if your current iPhone has installed iOS 16 or later version, you can transfer eSIM to new eSIM via Bluetooth.

Nah, the main reason I'm opting for my first iphone is because of the type c connector, even my iPad has type c, don't see the reason for me to have the lighting cable when everyone is moving forward with type c.
Now I might be leaning towards the pro models but at the same time still feel like 15 is good enough...
*
Comparison for pro and non-pro

1. pro using new chip |non-pro still using previous chip
2. pro got telescope | non-pro tak rak
3. pro using titanium case | non-pro using aluminum

of course there's few more features for photo/video which only pro had while non-pro tak rak, otherwise more or less about the same except the chip.
if for normal usage, 15 should be sufficient, for heavy gamer/ photography. better opt for pro

and and 15 is still using silent/mute button while pro only have active button

You guys get Pro or Pro Max? Do you think 5X optical zoom in Pro Max matters?
*
I'll get pro, the 5x zoom doesn't matter to me. And I like the size of 6.1" just right for me, best you go and get a grip on ip14 pro and promax at any outlet if you're new to iphone.

Not to mentioned the weight of it even thou it is lighter than previous gen

https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT213839

Points to note: -

1. iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max support fast USB 3.2 Gen 2 speeds up to 10Gbit per second when using an optional USB 3 cable. (The USB-C cable that comes with your iPhone supports charging and USB 2 speeds. If you want to use a USB 3 device, use a compliant USB 3 cable that supports 10Gbit/s - which Apple sells in Malaysia for RM399)

2. You can use your iPhone to charge your AirPods, Apple Watch, or another small device that supports USB Power Delivery at up to 4.5 watts.

3. iPhone uses the DisplayPort protocol to support connections to USB-C displays at up to 4K resolution and 60Hz. To connect your iPhone to high-resolution displays, use a USB-C cable that supports USB 3.1 or higher, such as the cable included with the display or the Thunderbolt 4 (USB‑C) Pro Cable (1 m), sold separately (but of course)…
*
Means if I already had the usb-c cable which support Displayport able to use on IP15Pro right?

QUOTE(fruitie @ Sep 18 2023, 02:47 PM)
Switch said this?
*

I support apple for environmental, no leather is ok for me, but I am shock from video showing this new material even finger nail also can scratch it easily and it is permanent.
*
how sturdy or firm it is, if compare with leather case?
As I tends to accidentally drop it few times throughout the years, so far the leather case really did protect from any scratch and even dust also hardly got in at the back of the case which so far my leather case been using it since 2years also (13PM).

This time might think to look for alternatives bye.gif

USB-C to C cable that comes with iPhone 15 Pro only support USB 2.0 speed and fast charging

Buy your own USB 3.0 C-C cable if you want DP out and faster speed

My recommendation is to get USB-C cable with emark
*
Ya, I means I already had C-C usb3.0 cable on hands.
So I no need to buy another USB3 cable again.
